Swift Thoughts
Design
I think the design of the Care 1 headphones is superb. The black version with silver trim has an excellent balance of shape and form. The alternate grey version is also very appealing but the combination of both silver and gold accents isn’t quite right in my opinion.
Audio Performance
Considering how reasonably priced the DOQAUS Care 1’s are, the sound quality is very good. The ability to select from three different EQ modes is a neat feature. You’ve got normal, bass and HD modes. Normal mode is for equally balanced high, mid and lows. Bass mode gives you an extra punchy boost in the low frequencies and high definition mode increases the highs and mids whilst reduces the bass for better clarity. This HD mode is ideal when watching films or listening to dialogue.
Comfort
The DOQAUS Care 1 headphones are surprisingly comfortable. The inside of the headband is well padded and the headphones feel very light on your head, weighing just 250g. The headband can extend and ear cups twist to fit most head shapes.
Build Quality
The build quality feels very reasonable for the price. They don’t feel flimsy or fragile. I’m not sure about long-term resilience but as with all headphones the better you look after them the longer they’ll last.
Functionality
The buttons around the ear cups may take a while to get used to with the sliding on/off button. You have to slide and hold to turn on until you hear a lady say “hi” in ear. 🙂
You’ll also never put these headphones on the wrong way as there are large L and R letters written on the inside of the cups.

A: Yes, if no sound is playing or no device is connected for 5 minutes then the headphones will automatically switch off.

A: Yes. I found the headphones very comfortable.

A: They are not advertised as being waterproof, but that doesn’t mean they won’t survive some light rain every now and then. I wouldn’t recommend swimming or showering with them. 🙂
