Swift Thoughts

Design

The WorWoder W-915 headphones have a clean, unfussy design. The controls around the ear cups are really neat, slim and unobtrusive. The brushed metal effect around the logo is also a nice touch.

I especially like the dark grey versions which makes a nice change from the usual black on black.

Audio Performance

Considering the price point the audio performance is pretty good. There is plenty of punch in the bass without feeling muddy. Whilst listening to a variety of different music genres is was impressed by the overall clarity and smoothness of the audio.

Build Quality

The build quality of the WorWoder headphones is also very good. I wouldn’t describe it as premium but definitely not in the flimsy category either.

Comfort

Comfort is where these headphones excel in. As a wearer of glasses I found them very comfortable even wearing for prolonged periods of time. Their lightness probably plays a major factor in this regard.

Functionality

Functionality wise, the W-915 headphones are fairly basic. Having said that though the WorWoder does have a feature not often seen, even in more premium alternatives. You are able to take calls whilst in wired mode!! Built-in mics tend only to work with Bluetooth on. The solution is simple… give customers an inline microphone on the audio cable. Why don’t other manufacturers do this?

So if you’re looking for a simple set of wireless headphones which sound good and feel comfortable for under £25 – then I can recommend trying a pair of the WorWoder W-915 headphones.

Did I mention the battery life is a whopping 50 hours? [insert your own impressed face meme]

FAQs

Q: Is there a microphone?
A: Yes there is both a built-in microphone and a mic on the audio cable so you can take calls in both wired and wireless modes!

A: Yes. They’ll also auto pair with previously connected devices.

Q: Can I use them wired as well as wirelessly?
A: Yes they come with a detachable audio cable for wired use.

Tech Talk

Bluetooth 5.0 – what does it do?

Bluetooth is a type of wireless technology that helps one device pair with another in order for data (usually audio) to be transferred wirelessly.

You may have noticed a lot of products boast that they have Bluetooth version 5.0 built-in. What’s so special about version 5.0? There have been many improvements within the technology over the years, but in brief Bluetooth 5.0 has these improvements over its predecessors:

  • Improved reliability
  • Extended range
  • Faster data transfer speeds

Improved reliability means that a wireless connection is less likely to suddenly fail for no obvious reason.

Extended range means that a device will stay connected with its paired device across longer distances.

Faster data transfer speeds offers both higher quality audio as well as greatly reduced audio lag when watching video content.
